الَّذِينَ يَأْكُلُونَ الرِّبَا لاَ يَقُومُونَ إِلاَّ كَمَا يَقُومُ الَّذِي يَتَخَبَّطُهُ الشَّيْطَانُ مِنَ الْمَسِّ ذَلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ قَالُواْ إِنَّمَا الْبَيْعُ مِثْلُ الرِّبَا وَأَحَلَّ اللّهُ الْبَيْعَ وَحَرَّمَ الرِّبَا فَمَن جَاءهُ مَوْعِظَةٌ مِّن رَّبِّهِ فَانتَهَىَ فَلَهُ مَا سَلَفَ وَأَمْرُهُ إِلَى اللّهِ وَمَنْ عَادَ فَأُوْلَـئِكَ أَصْحَابُ النَّارِ هُمْ فِيهَا خَالِدُونَ
It Defines — Those who take interest (even for a short term for making a profit), they become like one to whom Satan has enthralled and confounded by his touch. They will wake up from graves in a similar way before God. This is because they state that interest is just like trading, but God has made ‘trading lawful’, and ‘interest unlawful’. To whosoever a message comes from his God, and he halts (from interest), he may keep his past gains (legally), and his affair is committed to God. On the other side, whoever reverts to it (by judging it to be lawful), they are companions of the Fire; therein they will abide.

يَوْمَ يُحْمَىٰ عَلَيْهَا فِي نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ فَتُكْوَىٰ بِهَا جِبَاهُهُمْ وَجُنُوبُهُمْ وَظُهُورُهُمْ ۖ هَٰذَا مَا كَنَزْتُمْ لِأَنفُسِكُمْ فَذُوقُوا مَا كُنتُمْ تَكْنِزُونَ
It Defines — The Day when it will be heated in the fire of Hell and seared therewith will be their foreheads, their flanks, and their backs, [it will be said], “This is what you hoarded for yourselves, so taste what you used to hoard.”
Islam On Wealth As A Trail

Show Gratitude

وَإِذْ تَأَذَّنَ رَبُّكُمْ لَئِن شَكَرْتُمْ لَأَزِيدَنَّكُمْ ۖ وَلَئِن كَفَرْتُمْ إِنَّ عَذَابِي لَشَدِيدٌ
It Defines — And [remember] when your Lord proclaimed, ‘If you are grateful, I will surely increase you [in favor]; but if you deny, indeed, My punishment is severe.’ “
Ask For Forgiveness
A Muslim should never forget to ask for Allah’s forgiveness for living his life on the holy path of blessings. The Prophet says — ask forgiveness from your Lord; verily He is Oft-Forgiving. He will send rain to you in abundance; And give you increase in wealth and children, and bestow on you gardens and bestow on you rivers.
فَقُلْتُ اسْتَغْفِرُوا رَبَّكُمْ إِنَّهُ كَانَ غَفَّارًا
It Defines — And said, ‘Ask forgiveness of your Lord. Indeed, He is ever a Perpetual Forgiver.
Spend In Charity For More Wealth
Allah has said: “Spend oh son of Adam and I shall spend on you.” The Prophet Salallahu Alayhi Wasallam also said: “Charity doesn’t decrease wealth
وَأَنفِقُوا مِن مَّا رَزَقْنَاكُم مِّن قَبْلِ أَن يَأْتِيَ أَحَدَكُمُ الْمَوْتُ فَيَقُولَ رَبِّ لَوْلَا أَخَّرْتَنِي إِلَىٰ أَجَلٍ قَرِيبٍ فَأَصَّدَّقَ وَأَكُن مِّنَ الصَّالِحِينَ
It Defines — And spend [in the way of Allah ] from what We have provided you before death approaches one of you and he says, “My Lord if only You would delay me for a brief term so I would give charity and be among the righteous.”
